Building your own can be a great choice if you are building it for someone who has special needs. This way you can customize it to fit them perfectly. For example, if you have a really tall son, you can build an extra long bed. Now, he wont feel like his feet are hanging off or he doesn’t have room to turn. If you are creating it for some one who is in a wheel chair and needs extra help getting into bed the height of the bed and support bars could all be modified!
